In town for a college visit and found this place on the hotel map. We arrived just a little after opening on a Monday so it was quiet and empty and we were able to try different ice creams and make an informed selection. Very good assortment of flavors and they all taste great. Friendly service would definitely recommend and will return if we come back to the area.
All I can say is "Scrumptious!" Boombalatti's has some of the best ice cream around. I particularly love the coconut ice cream. It paired well with chocolate brownie fudge ice cream in a waffle cone. I haven't been here in a few years, so it looks like the store has been remodeled. The service is fine, typically staffed by students. I do miss those rocking chairs they once had out front.
Coming back from dinner on the beach and I wanted some ice cream and stopped and. saw this shop. I saw the line so I knew it was good and it most certainly was. More gelato style than ice cream but all delicious anyway. This is a great stop especially with kids coming back from the beach.
Delicious ice cream, friendly and helpful workers and SO many flavors! Although I am not vegan, I was very impressed with how many vegan flavors they had! Will be back next time I am in Wilmington.
Such a great ice cream spot! The flavors are amazing, but the coffee ice cream is absolutely delicious -- so rich and creamy! The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a sweet treat. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors! Highly recommend!
